EARLY ACCESS RELEASE v2.0.0.0 With a HEART and a GUN you [...] ASCENDed [...] to the status of the Beholder. Applaud, Praise [...] SHOOT or DIE

Hello, people.

Today is a great day: the day of the Early Access release.

So, what comes next?

The game will receive regular updates and fixes, up until the eventual Full Release. That means: 4 distinct playable Areas, an Endless Mode, and at least 1 Ending are to be added eventually. As of the date of posting this Devlog, there are 1 fully finished Area and 1 Area that is functional mechanically, but isn't finished visually. 

The price will change throughout the developmental process proportionally to the amount of content present in the game, up to somewhere between 7.00 and 10.00 Euros (aprox. 8.00 and 11.59 in Dollars) for the Full Release. Don't worry, buying the game once at any point would guarantee that you'll retain access to it even when its price rises.

Oh, and I figured out how to have a free Demo without creating a new page.

GAMEPLAY UPDATES:

Player:

- Added Damage Reduction on high Heartrate.

- Reduced wind-up time for Punch.

- Changed Jump velocity.

Enemies:

- Added new enemies: Acid Chaser, Acid Gunner, Acid Burster, and Vomiter.

Environment

- Added new Area: Acid.

- Added multi-level structure with difficutly progression for each Area.

- Removed that one Room without floor in the first Area.

QoL:

- Added proper Tutorial.

- Added Interlude Cutscene skip option after completing the game once.

- Added save system.

- Added optional in-game Timer.

- Settings no longer reset after exiting the game.

- Added Blessing Mark during dialogues.

- General particle optimization.

SOUND CHANGES: 

- Added sound in Main Menu.

BUG FIXES:

- Fixed the bug that allowed Player to wait out projectiles' life time by opening Pause Menu.

- Fixed entrances' colliders sometimes getting Player stuck.
